Jim Matthews, demand management expert and CPFR® expert, is a consultant and educator providing guidance in Integrated Business Planning, Demand Management, and CPFR® practices. Jim has solid experience across a number of industries – high-tech, CPG, retail, and distribution, in each of the geographic regions. Jim is known for his partnership at all levels and his passion for client success.
Jim leverages CPFR® processes to not only improve data and information exchange across partners, but also to align the business to objectives and key performance indicators that matter most to the customer and markets served. While leading a division in the high-tech industry, Jim’s team was able to improve customer satisfaction from 31 percent to 97 percent, expand the business fourfold, and increase profits over tenfold.
In a recent CPFR® engagement, Jim was able to facilitate activities to address a rise in channel inventory and restore harmony in the teams. The result was enhanced communication, $60M cash back to the balance sheet, and a virtual elimination of operational issues.
Jim has his MBA from McMaster University and speaks frequently at industry conferences.
