Business Management Consultant Todd Ferguson Will Bring Added Insight into Demand Management Best Practices

Todd Ferguson, demand management expert, is a consultant and educator providing guidance in Demand Management and Integrated Business Planning practices. Todd has solid experience across a number of industries – food manufacturing, medical devices, and oil and gas.

Todd’s most recent experience includes the implementation of a Demand Management function for an upstream oil and gas market leader. In this role, he drew on his skill as a Demand Planning expert to help define and continuously improve the company’s Integrated Business Planning process. Todd has a deep understanding of the underlying tools required to support an effective Demand Management process.

At a Fortune 500 global food manufacturer, Todd was tasked with building a consensus demand planning process. Individual planning books were configured for the sales force and, together with demand history and promotional activity, a composite forecast was created. As a forecasting coach, applicable metrics were established and reviewed through robust Business Intelligence Reporting, with family-level detail highlighted as part of the monthly Demand Review process.

Todd has presented on the subject of Demand Management at local APICS events as well as to university graduate-level classes. He holds a BA (Economics) from the University of British Columbia.
